Course Description
It's crazy, how similar we are. Together, all of us are working through our stuff, trying to make something positive out of something really difficult. For many, life has become dismal, or overwhelming and all humans can only withstand a certain level of defeat, fear, resentment or mental unrest before they reach the breaking point. There is a principle that states, Things work until they don't, and when they don't we must adjust." But many of us wonder how we might adjust? There is nothing hit or miss about living fully while you live, even during times of adversity. Wellness follows scientific laws that when sincerely practiced bring inner peace and liberate the power within, called resilience. This session is designed to invite reflection that leads us to understand the principles of wellness that bring us comfort and balance, and protect us from breaking. It is a time to ask questions that are on your mind so we can move beyond our weariness to living joyfully again.
Learning Objectives
"1. Learn how to accept the challenge of rethinking what really matters in times of adversity and the willingness to align priorities toward what the research has identified as what really matters.
2. Identify what it means to live a coherent lifestyle. 3. Learn to practice transformational coping, when necessary, by developing attributes that maximize resilience."
